A prisoner facing theft charges was found dead early this morning in his cell at Parian police precinct.
Reynaldo Yumson, who was arrested yesterday after he was served a warrant, used the garter of his underwear to hang himself.
He was discovered by SPO1 Raquel Camay, the desk officer of Parian police precinct at 7:45 a.m Friday.
Camay said she wondered why when Yumson was quiet inside his cell.
When she decided to check on him, she saw him standing by the door lifeless, with the garter of his brief around his neck.
Police are still investigating the reason for Yumson’s supposed suicide. Yumson’s remains is currently at St. Francis Funeral Homes.
