Mandaue police to get 3 patrol cars from CCPO
The Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) will be getting an additional of three patrol cars for a more efficient mobility and response to crime incidents.
According to Chief Supt. Patrocinio Comendador Jr., regional director of the Police Regional Office Central Visayas (PRO-7), the vehicles were not new but would be on loan from the various offices of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) to address MCPO’s lack of patrol cars.
“We have borrowed patrol cars from Cebu Province and they committed to provide three patrol cars. These (patrol cars) will be given to Mandaue, hopefully by the weekend,” Comendador said.
MCPO has six police stations but only three have patrol cars. “Our objective is to provide patrol cars to all the Mandaue City stations,” added Comendador.
Senior Superintendent Jonathan Cabal, MCPO chief, said they welcomed the vehicles that would be loaned to them by CCPO, as the release of their our own patrol cars was still pending.
