Motorist figures in accident at Maguikay flyover
A MOTORIST figured in an accident along Maguikay flyover in Mandaue City at 5:30 a.m. Friday.
The motorist identified as 34-year-old Francis Mae Gatungay, a resident of Bayabas Extension in barangay Mambaling sustained minor injuries after her Honda Accord hit a traffic signage.
“She hit a traffic signage and then slammed into a ramp into the concrete railings, ” Mandaue traffic investigator Ryan Bentoy said.
He said the driver was unable to control her accelerator resulting to the accident.
Gatungay was on her way to Consolacion when the accident happened. She is now at Mandaue District Hospital for treatment of her minor injuries.
