AN ongoing road concreting project at corner D.M Cortes and Cansaga road is slowing down traffic in nearby areas, the Mandaue City Command Center said today.

Darnel Mark Brada of the Mandaue City Command Center said traffic at D.M. Cortes to U.N Avenue as well as V.P. Rizal Street to Pacific Mall is slow moving while the north area is manageable.

There is also a high volume of vehicles at the Fernan bridge leading to U.N. Avenue while traffic at Ouano Avenue going to Subangdaku and M.C. Briones Moderate is moving.

“One lane can be passed and there are big trucks passing by,” Brada said. The project started Friday.
