Motorcycle riding gunmen shot dead robbery suspect, suspected drug dependent
A ROBBERY suspect was shot dead by two motorcycle riding assailants in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City at past 8 p.m. last Monday.
The 28-year-old victim identified as Joseph Cabuenas alias Kabog, a resident of Sitio Ilang-Ilang, Barangay Langtad, Talisay City, was headed home when the two assailants sideswiped him and the back rider shot him in the head.
SPO2 Ybone Illustrisimo of the Talisay City police said Cabuenas had an arrest warrant on robbery charges.
In Consolacion town, a suspected drug dependent was also shot by motorcycle riding assailants at 5 p.m. last Monday in Barangay Cansaga.
The victim identified as 23-year-old Chris Noel Soroño sustained a gunshot wound in the head.
Three hours later, a 38-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in barangay Tulay, Minglanilla town.
Police identified the victim as Sherwin Aligna Mayola, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Minglanilla town.
Recovered from the crime scene were 10 empty shells.
