RORIE Paspie scored 43 points including 13 three-pointers Friday night to lead the Panthers to an easy, 116-70 win against the Falcons in the 6th season of the Elite Basketball Club Cebu at the Visayan Glass Gym in Guadalupe, Cebu City.
Paspie set another Elite Club record for most three-pointers made in a single game passing John Villamor’s previous mark of 11.
Last week, the Rams’ Armando de Jesus also made history by scoring 56 points in their, 85-82 win against the Eagles which bettered Neil Buot’s previous single game score of 44 markers.
The Panthers further solidified their place atop the standings with the win – a week before the Elite Club playoffs start on July 17.
Tristan Chu added 31 points for the Panthers while the Falcons were led by Malvin Malicdem with 26 points and Jhonnel Escober who added 19.
