Twelve people including a 10-year-old boy were rounded up by police in separate operations in two sitios in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City last Saturday.
At past 4 p.m., four persons were caught playing video karera and moli-moli machines at Sitio Bliss Alaska.
Those arrested were identified as Benedicto Canendo, 33; Eduardo Giltendez, 34; Arfel Tirando, 47; and Giovanni Adlao, 30. Recovered from the hut where they holed up in were two units of video karera and moli-moli machines and betting money.
Later at 9 p.m., the police arrested eight persons who were also caught playing two video karera and six moli-moli machines at Sitio Villa Kalubihan.
Aside from a 10-year-old boy, also caught were Louie Canete, 31; Arthuro Yunque, 33; Michael Lango, 34; Ruben Alegado, 52, Joebert Eguin, 35; Anjon Gomez, 34; and Jonathan Cabillon, 34.
All of them are detained at the Mambaling police precinct.
