Games today:
7:00 p.m. – SG-ARQ vs ASPA
8:30 p.m. – Gullas vs San Remegio

THE SG-ARQ Builders remained in a class all on their own in the Emil’s Fresh Chicken Cup Invitational as they proved steadier down the stretch and hack out a 111–102 win over the Fighter Wine on Monday night at the Minglanilla Sports Complex.

Former PBA player Jojo Tangkay showcased nerves of steel as he canned two triples inside the last two minutes of the match to give the Builders the separation they needed. He finished with 19 points and led eight different players who scored in double figures.

Ferdinand Lusdoc had 14, Eman Calo added 14, Hafer Mondragon chipped in 13, Reed Juntilla contributed 12, Mark Ababon fired in 11 while John Abad and Rino Berame each had 10 for the 3–0 (win-loss) SG-ARQ.

Jayford Rodriguez and Joseph Nalos had 33 and 20, respectively, for Fighter Wine, which suffered their first loss of the competition.
