Modern jeepneys to ply Cebu City streets starting on Tuesday
CEBU CITY, Philippines -Airconditioned jeepneys will already ply Cebu City streets starting on Tuesday, December 18.
City Council members passed during their special session on Monday morning a resolution to approve the travel line of the modern jeepneys.
Administration Councilor Eugenio Gabuya Jr. authored the resolution that will allow Persano Corp. to deploy 40 Beeps on Cebu City streets.
A total of 20 Beeps will ply routes from City Hall to the IT Park passing by Robinsons Galleria, the Cebu Business Park and vice versa.
Twenty other units will ply R. Duterte Streets to Sykes Asia, Inc. in Barangay Mabolo passing by Happy Valley Subdivision, Fuente Osmeña Rotunda, Ramos Street, D. Dakosalem Street, the Cebu Business Park, and vice versa.
