Pilot test of new K-10 curriculum on Sept. 25
The pilot implementation of the revised K-10 curriculum will start on Sept. 25 in 35 public schools from seven regions, the Department of Education (DepEd) announced on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
The test run will be conducted almost one month after the opening of classes on Aug. 29 as the DepEd took some time to identify the participating schools.
Based on the official list provided to the media, five schools each were selected from the regions of Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Visayas, Soccsksargen (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos), the Cordillera Administrative Region, Caraga (Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur) and the National Capital Region.
