4 dead, 28 injured in Ceres bus collision

Six people were killed while a still undetermined number were hurt when two buses collided head-on in E.B. Magalona town, Negros Occidental, Wednesday morning, police said. Both buses are owned by Ceres, Negros Occidental provincial police director Senior Superintendent Samuel Nacion said. One of them was heading to Bacolod City while the other was going to Escalante City, Nacion said in a text message. The incident occurred along the National Highway in Brgy. Santo Niño. Those who were injured were taken to the nearest hospital, Nacion said.
