JINS FROM schools in Cebu continue their battle as they compete in the sixth day of the eight-day Philippine Taekwondo League – Cebu tournament tomorrow at SM City Consolacion.
Players from universities and public schools from the three divisions will look to improve their respective standings in the round-robin competition before the slated finals on Nov. 22, wherein the top two will meet in the winner-take-all matches.
In the women’s seniors division, the Warriors of the University of San Carlos (USC) will face the Green Lancers of the University of the Visayas (UV) while the University of Cebu (UC) will clash with the University of San Jose – Recoletos (USJ-R) and UV.
In the men’s seniors, two UC teams will go head-to-head as the jins from the main campus take on the jins of the METC team. UV and USC players will also battle it out in the same division.
The three divisions of the tournament are the seniors (18 and above), juniors (15 to 17), and cadet (12 to 14).
