Cash incentives for Mandaue City Hall employees
THE Mandaue City Council approved an ordinance granting additional year-end cash incentives to all city elected officials and regular employees this year.
City Councilor Diosdado Suico proposed the ordinance giving cash incentives to the city officials and employees earning P10,000 a month and above.
Under the ordinance, those earning that amount will receive a sum equal to their one month salary.
Those earning below P10,000 a month will now earn P10,000 monthly.
The ordinance doesn’t include job order workers, clean and green employees and barangay health workers.
Mandaue City Hall employs 1,936 job order workers and 562 regular employees as of last month.
The city allocated P10.8 million for this purpose.
