Margot cancels leaves of officials, employees
ACTING Cebu City Mayor Margot Osmeña issued yet another memorandum that recalled all applications and approved leaves of absences of City Hall employees and officials.
But several department heads who are known loyalists of suspended Mayor Michael Rama already went on leave even before Osmeña issued the memo.
For one, City Administrator Lucelle Mercado is out of the country while City Legal Officer Jerone Castillo is on indefinite leave according to their office staff.
The memo came after Osmeña convened already a transition team that will meet with those assigned by her husband, incoming Mayor Tomas Osmeña, to ensure a smooth turnover of administration.
