Labella, Acting City Administrator are co-mayors

Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña issued a memo appointing Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella and Acting City Administrator Veronica Morelos as co-mayors while he is away on vacation in Japan until July 28.
Both Labella and Morelos said that they received the memorandum on Monday morning.
Morelos said that there were no particular orders she received from the mayor.
As to whether who will sign documents, Morelos said she will let the vice mayor sign it.
Labella said that he will follow orders as mandated by the local government code
“Sunod lang ta mandato. Provided sa local government code, I have to oblige,” he said.
