Kidnap case provisionally dismissed against call center agent
THE case of kidnapping filed against Melissa Londres, the call center agent accused of kidnapping an infant last January 4 at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, had been provisionally dismissed by Judge Ester Veloso of the Regional Trial Court Branch 6.
The dismissal meant the release of Londres from detention and came after the arresting police officers and the complainants failed to appear during the initial hearing. Depending on the penalty of the case, charges that were provisionally dismissed may be revived within one to two years.
