LOOKING to sustain the momentum, the Omega Pro Sports International (OPSI) is cooking up another explosive fight card for the third installment of the rising “Who’s Next?” Pro Boxing Series.

“Jhack Tepora and Christian Araneta may headline ‘Who’s Next? 3’. It will be held either in October or November,” said Chad Canares, Vice President of OPSI.

Canares said OPSI is pleased with the turnout of the series’ first two editions.

“We are working hard to continue to improve. In the second edition, we had a bigger crowd, fights were also exciting especially the Kenny Demecillo-Rambo Lagos fight,” said Canares.

Demecillo and Lagos figured in a 10-round brawl where the former escaped with a close split decision win to retain his WBF Asia-Pacific Bantamweight title.

Tepora and Araneta also saw action in that card held last July 30 at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu Atrium.

Tepora needed just one round to dispose of Bryan Capangpangan, keeping his unbeaten record intact while retaining his WBO Asia-Pacific Youth Super Bantamweight belt.

Tepora now owns a 17W-0L-0D-12KOs record.

The undefeated Araneta likewise needed just one round to defeat Charlie Cabilla as he pocketed his 12th victory—10 of them by way of knockout.

Canares said just like in the first two installments, the third edition of “Who’s Next?” will also feature non-Omega Boxing Gym stable.

“OPSI’s vision has always been to give every boxer the chance to showcase his talent. We want to help them fulfill their dream of becoming the next big thing in boxing,” added Canares.

As a promotional outfit, OPSI’s goal is to continue providing quality fights, said Canares.

“We are gaining momentum and we will continue to step up. We want to raise the bar a little higher and we will do it slowly but surely,” said Canares.

“Who’s Next?” is expected to reach wider audience after OPSI tied up with GMA Network.
