An unknown assailant on board a motorcycle shot dead a male jeepney passenger in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City on Friday evening.
Ruben Robagos, 41, was shot in the forehead.
Carmelito Curaraton, driver of the jeepney with a 04L route (Lahug, SM, Ayala), told investigators of the Mabolo Police Station that he was moving at a moderate speed due to traffic along St. John Paul II Avenue towards Asia Town IT Park at 8:20 p.m. when the unidentified assailant on board a motorcycle shot the victim on his forehead.
The jeepney with a plate number GWU 347 was loaded with 16 passengers when the shooting happened.
Police recovered an empty shell of a .9 mm pistol from the crime scene.
