Blue Marlins to vie in Silliman meet anew

THE CEBU Blue Marlins Swimming Club will compete again in the 115th Silliman University Founder’s Day Novice and Age-Group Competitive Swimming Meet in Dumaguete City starting tomorrow.

Last year, the Blue Marlins took the top spot as they bagged 47 gold medals.

The Rolando Alvarez-coach CBM squad will be led by Most Outstanding swimmers Rafael Dacaldacal, Micah Marie Dela Serna and Mai Kawabata of University of Cebu (UC).

Making up the list of Competitive Male bets for CBM are Mike Gabriella Dela Serna (Tabunok Central School), Martin Samuel Del Rosario (Blessed Trinity Achiever’s Academy), Jehaosh Reign Garrido (BRIGHT Academy), Benedict James Orio (Sage Prep School), Ian James Chu (UCLM), Ivan James Chu (UCLM), UC’s Jobert Indaya, Giovanni Seth Gealon, Rodrigo Macawile Jr., Jan Niño Rosales, Ramsay Macawile, Ian Jan Phillip Docabo, Nicolas Rae Merced, Junvic Tiro, Jericho Taal and Jeibe Oriesga.

In the distaff side, the roster is composed of Zurielle Kenzie Galo (UCLM), Reesee Krustein Maree Navarro (Talisay Elementary School), Danike Maryl Villano (Three H Redwood Academy), Mika Ella Carredo (Tabunok Central School), Dionifel Kate Saraga (City Central School), Zoe Marie Villamor (USJR), Justine Reign Garrido (BRIGHT Academy).

They are also joined by UC’s Maria Michaela Recilla, Mary Pauline Indaya, Rein Ezabela Villano, Alexa Angel Asibal, Dionilyn Jade Villahermosa, Bencynth Ghail Luage, Kristina Angelika Torres, Dionifel Jade Villahermosa, Bencynth Luage, Kristina Angelika Torres, Dionifel Ann Saraga, Lindsay Ann Gonzales, Shane Allyne Pareja, Karen Mae Indaya, Elvie Salvo and Jasmine Jaeckel.

CBM will also have novice boys and novice girls entries for the meet.
