CHERRY Andrin and Kenyan Eric Chipsiror claimed the top spots in the 2nd Scholars Run of the Lihuk Panaghiusa Inc. yesterday.
Andrin of Lapu-Lapu City topped the women’s 10k race with a time of 41 minutes and two seconds while Chipsiror crossed the finish line at the Plaza Independencia in 31:24 to dominate the men’s race.
Crisabel Cadion finished second place with a time of 41:25 while Melody Perez rounded off the top three with a time of 42:17.
Azlan Pagay (35:47) and Robert Daang (36:41) were the runners-up in the men’s side.
Champions in the 5k race were Rowen Algufera (16:43) and Jeneziel Saballa (21:46) while 3k winners were Ronilo Gabilan Jr (09:48) and Jeneda Arcuino (12:22).
The running event was organized by the Lihuk Panaghiusa Foundation Inc. for its existing scholarship program in Cebu.
