AFTER successfully hosting the 8th Cetba National Tenpin Open, the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) gears up for the much-awaited “Bowler of the Year” tournament set this Saturday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
The tournament, which will feature a six-round game series, will pit CETBA’s monthly tournament winners.
Leading the 12 contenders is defending “Bowler of the Year” champion Jerry Davis, who topped the January competition.
Champion in the tournament will take home P4,500 while the first and second runners-up will get P3,500 and P2,500, respectively. The third runner-up will get P1,500, while the fourth runner-up will settle for P500.
The rest of the monthly champions who will compete in the year-ending tournament are Lauren Brian Sy (November), Docdoc Gothong (December), Sonia Gakenholz (October), Jomar Jumapao (September), Micmic Miranda (August), Ging Francisco (July), Jericho Jumapao (June), Marvin Sevilla (May), Noel Marquez (April), Fred Torrequemada (March) and Rey Velarde (February).
