Four election officers in Cebu province were reassigned a day before the filing of the certificates of candidacy for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

Cebu City North District election officer Marchel Sarno is now assigned in Talisay City, replacing lawyer Gallardo Escobar.

Escobar will take the post of Sarno as Cebu City North District election officer.

Lawyer Anna Fleur Gujilde is now reassigned as the election officer of Mandaue City, replacing Atty. Edwin Cadungog.

Cadungog will take Gujilde’s previous assignment as the election officer of Cebu City South District.
Sarno said that they have been previously informed of the revamp and their reassignments

The resolution from the Commission on Election Central Office ordering the revamp was released this week.
