THE Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) called on the provincial government to reassign police in their area after they were pulled out last June.
“The volume of passengers and the design of the terminal nga daghang kalutsan (there are many entry points), We need all the help with regards on the security,” CSBT Terminal Manager Joey Herrera said.
Last July 14, 46 pistols were smuggled through the terminal and reached their intended recipients in the south.
There are only 31 blue guards assigned at the terminal.
“Police presence is a deterrent to smuggling,” Herrera said.
