THE KNF Utd had a successful outing at the Pintaflores Cup 2018 held in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental over the weekend with its Boys Under 15 bringing home the title in their category.
KNF Utd blanked Gannet FC A, 2-0, to clinch the Boys U15 title. It advanced to the finals with a convincing 7-0 blanking of La Salle Bacolod.
The Cebu-based team bagged a semifinals ticket after topping Group A with four wins and one draw.
The team also defeated all of its elimination assignments without giving up a goal.
It scored a similar 5-0 against Quezon Lions and Canlaon FC, then thrashed JLNHS A, 9-0, before outsmarting home team Los Amigos FC, 2-0. Its draw was from its game against Gannet FC A, 0-0.
Other teams of KNF Utd — Mix 8 and Mix 10 — also had respectable finishes by placing second in their respective categories eliminations with similar 2-1-1 win-loss-draw records.
