PDEU, PIB seize P472K worth of drugs

A minor was rescued while a man eluded arrest during a drug bust in Barangay Inuburan, in Naga City Cebu on October 27, Saturday evening.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Philippine Intelligence Branch (PIB) identified the suspect as France (not his real name) and his cohort Bembo Barciana, who remained at large.

PDEU and PIB recovered eight medium packs of suspected shabu all worth P472,000.

France is now under the custody of the city’s Department of Social Welfare and Development while police are now on hot pursuit to arrest Barciana.
