HITMAKERS Rey Valera, Nonoy Zuniga, and Marco Sison with Cebuana
performer Giselle Sanchez are coming for #TanderLanes, a concert to be held at the Grand Pacific Ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on January 18, 2019.
“Ang sarap mag perform sa mga Cebuanos, para kang nanalo,” Valera told Cebu media and bloggers during a digital press conference last
December 5, Wednesday.
Valera, 64, is expected to serenade Cebuanos with his greatest hits like “Pangako Sa ’Yo,” “Maging Sino Ka Man,” “Kung Kailangan Mo Ako,” “Naaalala Ka,” and
“Sorry Na, Pwede Ba.”
“May story (sa concert) na i-ikot sa aming apat. May sitwasyon,” Sison added.
Sison, 61, will sing his popular songs such as “My Love Will See You Through,” “Si Aida, O Si Lorna, O Si Fe,” “Always,” and “Make Believe.”
Zuniga said he considers the concert as a jamming session with his fans.
He will perform his hit songs “Never Say Goodbye,” “Kumusta Ka,” “Doon Lang,” and “Love Without Time,” among others.
Having been in themusic industry since the 1970s, the OPM icons do not deny that they are already “tanders” or senior citizens. The concert will also prove that age is just a number.
Cebuanos will not just enjoy listening to OPM hits but will be entertained by jokes from Sanchez.
“This is not a typical concert. May mangyayari,” Sanchez said.
Although she’s only 43 years old, Sanchez believes that everyone who was born before 1989 is considered a tander.
She added that as a Cebuana, she is honored to perform with the
hitmakers next month.
