MANDAUE CITY, Philippines – Personnel from the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Offices (BDRRMO) in Mandaue City were made to undergo basic incident command system training on April 10, 2019.

Participants of the training came from Barangays Alang-Alang, Bakilid, Banilad, Cambaro, Centro, Guizo, Ibabao, Looc, Subangdaku, and Tipolo.

Organized in cooperation with the Guardian Developer SugboTek, participants coming from 10 of the city’s 27 barangays were taught how to manage their respective emergency circumstances and disaster situations.

The first batch of trainees were taught how to use the mobile-based Guardian Emergency Response app “that is now used and available 24/7 as an added tool in the city’s DRRM efforts and initiatives.”/dcb
