A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy was killed after he was hit by a private vehicle while crossing the road in barangay Tigbawan, Tabuelan town, northwest Cebu.
Police said Jhon Ray Matedios was with his parents walking at the side of the road but he suddenly ran to the other side causing the accident.
The boy was brought to a nearby hospital but did not make it alive.
Police said the boy’s family reached an amicable settlement with the driver of the private vehicle, said PO1 John Mark Asendiente of the Tabuelan police.
