Gay and lesbian couple in Cebu makes it official with the help of Facebook
CEBU CITY, Philippines– It was love at first chat.
It all started with a friend request. Then an exchange of messages.
The next thing they knew, they were officially a couple.
Couple Bailey Avancenia and Jovete Zamora from Barangay Basak Pardo here may have had a different way of getting connected, but they sure are a unique couple to be defining all odds in a conventional and traditional relationship.
Bailey, a lesbian fell in love with Jovete, who is gay.
Yes. You read that right.
This love story is not impossible, but truly a remarkable love story to share.
In fact, CDN Digital shared a photo of a gay man and a lesbian getting married in Mandaue City last January 15, 2021.
Zamora said in an interview with CDN Digital that they could not really explain how it happened.
The couple met online last September 2020 and made things official on January 28, 2021.
“Kato nga panghitabo is nanguyab ra jud to sya.. after of 4months nga naglove² nga way label..Bali gikan ko nag work nya wala ko kaybaw nga naa diay surprise. Agaayy ang nag plan ako pares with the help of my friends and his friends,” said Zamora.
(What happened was that he was just courting…after four months of being in love without any label..One day, I came from work and I didn’t know that there was a surprise waiting. It was my partner who planned the surprise with the help of my frieds and his friends.)
The couple’s relationship was questioned by a lot of people, but the couple knew that nothing can break them apart with the support from their families and friends.
The couple is still on cloud nine after becoming official and are hoping to settle down in the near future if everything goes well.
What a way to start the love month, right?
