Mandaue lays down COVID-19 vaccination plan
MANDAUE CITY, Philippines – Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes met with the city’s barangay officials on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, to tackle the city’s Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination plan.
In line with the preparation of the COVID-19 vaccination plan in Mandaue City, barangay officials were summoned by Mayor Cortes to inform them of their tasks in the roll-out of the vaccination plan.
Different meetings were also held in each barangay to discuss the plans regarding COVID-19.
Mayor Jonas Cortes said this is to strengthen the data gathering of the 27 barangays.
The Mayor said it is important to work together to streamline the city’s vaccination plan.
“We need to know the number of households, senior citizens, frontliners, ing-ana nga information.
The officials said they already have the initial list of the priorities to be vaccinated and will also create their own COVID-19 committee.
/rcg
