Married man and his mistress caught inside Cebu City pension house
A married man from Mandaue City and his alleged mistress will be facing concubinage charges after authorities caught them both inside a pension house here on Sunday, October 15, 2023.
Police in Parian Police Station, Cebu City confirmed arresting a 50-year-old man and his 48-year-old alleged mistress inside a pension house along Mabini Street in Brgy. Parian around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Keaton Taburnal of CRMC Mustangs suspended for two games by Cesafi
Keaton Clyde Taburnal of the Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges (CRMC) Mustangs has been suspended by the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (Cesafi) for unsporstsmanlike conduct.
Taburnal, the co-team captain of the newcomer CRMC Mustangs of Bogo City, will be slapped with a two-game suspension and will also have to pay P10,000 and do four hours of community service.
LTO-7 exec: Drivers can now get their plastic driver’s licenses
Drivers who are planning and waiting to get their plastic driver’s license can start processing for it now.
Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO-7) Assistant Regional Director Engineer Arturo Roque Apolinar confirmed with CDN Digital on Monday, October 16, that the process of the plastic driver’s license was ongoing.
He said that those holders with paper-printed licenses could start requesting for LTO to print their plastic card.
One holiday can’t revise PH history – Imee Marcos
Excluding the February 25 anniversary of the 1986 People Power Revolt from the list of national holidays for 2024 cannot alter the truth about the historic uprising that toppled their late father’s dictatorial regime, Sen. Imee Marcos said on Sunday.
The exclusion was spelled out in Presidential Proclamation No. 368, which the Office of the President regularly releases every year to officially designate official nonworking holidays the following year.
