Kris Tiffany Janson of Cebu City North was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Cebu 2024 on Saturday, February 3.
CEBU CITY, Philippines — Cebu City North’s bet, Kris Tiffany Janson, was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Cebu 2024, earning the honor of representing Cebu on the national stage.
The coronation took place Saturday night, February 3, at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
Aside from bringing home the crown, Janson also won various special awards, including Best in Evening Gown.
Janson also proved that she was not just beautiful but also very witty.
During the question and answer portion, she was asked: “If you were to create a major headline in Cebu tomorrow that is socially relevant, what would it be and why?”
“If I were to create a headline, it would be ‘Cebu: Empowering Stronger Women’ because Cebu is known to be a very open city, and what I love about Cebu is that we are very welcoming and we empower our women. We build communities for stronger women, and that is the future universe that we can share with everyone,” was Janson’s winning answer.
Janson, 34, has been gracing beauty pageants for over 10 years now.
She was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental in 2014 and Miss Intercontinental second runner-up in the same year.

Nica Zosa Nabua of Minglanilla – Miss Universe Philippines Cebu Charity 2024
Natasha Testa of Lapu-Lapu City, designated as The Miss Philippines Cebu 2024
Mipsen Galves of Carcar City was named first runner-up while Thelma Suzanne Dayao of San Fernando claimed the second runner-up title.
Meanwhile, several other localities also hosted their respective MUPH pageants.
According MUPH organization, local pageants were held in Pampanga (Jan. 19), Batangas (Jan. 20), Naic (Jan. 21), Cagayan de Oro (Jan. 27), Bohol (Jan. 28), and Tacloban (Jan. 31).
Albay and Quezon City will have their own Miss Universe pageant on Feb. 4 and 5 respectively.
However, MUPH is yet to announce the coronation date for its national pageant.
