A JAPANESE national was wounded after two employees hacked him for refusing to give them cash in barangay Tisa, Cebu City yesterday morning.

Heidio Kamimura, 65, sustained hack wounds in the face, head and body.

Police identified the assailants as Joel Diendo, 34, and stay-in helper Marie Denso.

Diendio was the victim’s driver.

Police said Kamimura was about to use the toilet when he came upon his two employees. One was carrying a bolo.

Police said the suspects demanded cash from their employer.

When Kamimura resisted, the suspects took turns hacking him.

They fled after the victim shouted for help.

Neighbors brought the victim to Chong Hua Hospital.
