A former Cebu City councilor accused last Saturday a businessman of stealing more than P170,000 worth of housing fixtures and fittings, and aircon units from the former dad’s apartment in Sun Valley, barangay Calamba, Cebu City.
According to PO2 Emmanuel Abergas of Cebu City Police Station 6 in barangay Pasil, former councilor Joey Daluz accused the businessman (name withheld until a case is filed) of removing fixtures and fittings and aircon units from his house.
Daluz told police that he checked on the house last Saturday and discovered the theft.
He said the businessman rented his apartment and used it as a storage area and staff house for his restaurant business.
Daluz said he terminated the contract with the businessman because he wanted to use the house.
Daluz told police that he would file theft and malicious mischief charges against the businessman.
