A 67-YEAR-OLD retired schoolteacher reported to  police that she lost  jewelry and P100,000 cash to three conmen in Carcar City,  southern Cebu last Friday afternoon.

Luzvizminda Bayquin Divinagracia said she believes she was hypnotized and couldn’t  explain why she followed what the three men told her to do.

She was on her way to a mall along P. Nellas Street   when she met the three men she identified as Gilbert Abad, Minche Getapalane and a certain Rosales.

Divinagracia, a native of Zamboanga Sibugay, said the three men introduced themselves as friends of her son-in-law.

The woman said she was brought to a pickup truck and told  to withdraw P100,000.

They accompanied her to a  bank to withdraw the  cash. Divinagracia said the three men left her when they took the money. She said she could hardly move and talk after the three men left.

Police are still investigating the incident.
