By: John Carlo Villaruel April 12,2016 - 10:30 PM

BEFORE Joseph Miller embarks on his Xterra Asia Pacific Championship bid later this month, the 37-year-old Cebuano will first collide with the country’s amateur duathletes in the opening leg of the Columbia Trail Masters Off-Road Duathlon Series this Saturday at the Timberland Heights in San Mateo, Rizal.

Miller, who hails from Lapu-Lapu City, will be joining the men’s category, which has a total of 122 competitors.

The race will serve as  preparation for Miller’s stint in New South Wales, Australia this April 23, where he will go up against the best triathletes in the Asia-Pacific region.

Joining Miller in San Mateo is fellow Cebuano and Team Ford Forza teammate Elmo Clarrabal, who will also be competing in the men’s division.
