Remains of unidentified man found in Inayawan

The remains of an unidentified man was found by police in a vacant lot near a barangay road in sitio Kaluwasan, Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City at past 6 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the man had a gunshot wound on his back and front. His remains was found by 71-year-old resident Desiderio Cabo.

The man was described to be in his early 20s, wearing denim jeans, an aqua green shirt and bullcap. He also wore a silver necklace with a tattoo on his chest spelled as “Aquasia Andrew.”

Drug paraphernalia and an ID card of an elementary student weer found in his possession. His body is now at St. Francis Funeral for autopsy.

SPO4 Rene Barral, desk officer of the Pardo police precinct, said the victim may not be from the area since no one was able to identify him.
