AN UNIDENTIFIED gunman shot and wounded a bus driver in Sacris Road Extension, Barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City yesterday.

SPO1 Michael Dimalima of the Mandaue City police said the shooting of Natalie bus driver Ernie Calapi was not election related.

Based on initial investigation, Dimalima said Calapi had stopped the bus after he noticed nails placed at the entrance to the garage. The gunman was waiting for him there.

The gunman fired four times, hitting Calapi on the face, and fled on a waiting motorcycle driven by a cohort.
