Dumpit told Cebu Daily News in a phone interview that his bail was already paid by lawyer Ben Militar on Wednesday afternoon. He will be released from the Leyte Regional Penitentiary (LRP) in Abuyog town in Leyte province on Thursday.
Dumpit said upon his release, he and Militar will immediately leave for Cebu City so he could personally thank incoming mayor Tomas Osmeña for paying his P250,000 bail./Correspondent Chito Aragon
