Jolianne Salvado

WHILE most kids dream of attaining a single profession by the time they reach adulthood, a young girl from Banilad, Cebu City sets her eyes on becoming five different people in ten years time. How she will make this turn into reality, no one knows, but the only thing that’s certain is she is determined to accomplish greater things.

Homegrown talent Jolianne Salvado a.k.a. “Ang Young Achiever ng Cebu” proved this when she put Cebu into the limelight for the rest of the country to see that it is home to individuals of world-class talents. She captured the hearts of thousands of televiewers when she sang her young heart out at the second season of The Voice Kids Philippines.

Jolianne is now on her eighth grade in junior high school at PAREF Southcrest School for Girls. Being the achiever that she is, she finished grade school as the class salutatorian on top of being awarded Best in Math and Best in Music. When she’s not behind a microphone, you would see her up on stage declaiming or shaking out pompoms as a cheerleader or directing a classical play like William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.

When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, the witty, charming achiever said she aims to become a model, a dancer, an actress, a singer, and at the same time, a doctor.

This July 2 at 8p.m., witness Jolianne perform live in “The Philippines Greatest Hits” at the Atlantic Hall of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino together with renowned Pinoy hit makers Hajji Alejandro, Marco Sison, and Nonoy Zuñiga. For ticket reservations, contact 0915-535-3873 and 232-6888 or drop by at the Waterfront Hotel lobby, SM Customer Service, and Ayala Customer Service.
