THE SAN Roque Football Club (SRFC) will try to hold on to the top spot in the Under-11 category of the Grassroots Football League, which resumes today at the Benthel Asia in Lapu-Lapu City.
SRFC booters will once again have three games — they will first go up against Centre for International Education (CIE), then Singapore School, and Balamban.
SRFC is at the top spot with its 15 points after having won all of their five matches so far.
Erstwhile leader Singapore School has a chance to wrest back the top spot should it win its three assignments today against SRFC, Balamban and Samanthabadra.
The resumption of the games will be opened by Giuseppe FC, who will go up against Samanthabadra. The Giuseppe will also play in the last match for the U11 versus Benthel Asia.
Other matches will have Benthel Asia going up against University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R), CIE taking on USJ-R and Balamban facing CIE.
In the U9 category, other teams will get a chance to catch up with top teams SRFC and Giuseppe, who have no scheduled games today.
Balamban FC-USJR has a chance to take over the top spot should it win both its game assignments against Benthel Asia and Singapore School.
USJ-R will get a chance to finally post its first win as it goes up against Samanthabadra.
