PB urges Mandaue City Government to put fences along sides of Mandaue-Mactan bridges

The Cebu Provincial Board (PB) has passed a resolution requesting the Mandaue City government to put barbed-wire fences along the sides of the Marcelo Fernan Bridge and the old Mandaue-Mactan Bridge.
The resolution was approved in a special session on Wednesday (August 8).
Board Member Victoria Corominas-Toribio said the fences may discourage people from committing suicide by jumping off the bridge.
