Cogon Pardo shooting: Illegal drugs behind killing of 21-year-old man?

A 21-year-old man was shot dead in Tagunol, Barangay Cogon Pardo, Cebu City, on Sunday afternoon, August 27, 2023.
According to the report of Police Major Jeciree Basitao of Inayawan Police Station, the incident happened at about 4:15 p.m. on Sunday in the said place.
Pump prices go up for 8th week; 3 oil firms adjust rates Aug 29
Local oil companies announced fuel prices will increase again as adjustments are set to be made beginning August 29 (Tuesday).
Cleanfuel and Seaoil announced on Monday their gasoline prices would go up by P0.30 per liter and diesel by P0.70 per liter.
Seaoil also said a P0.80 increase in kerosene price.
PNP revokes gun license of retired cop in viral road rage clip
The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said it revoked the gun license of a retired police officer who pulled out and cocked a handgun during a road altercation with a biker in Quezon City.
While PNP only mentioned “an individual” in the statement, the driver of the car was earlier identified by the Quezon City Police District as Willy Gonzales, who was seen on a viral video in an altercation with a cyclist over the weekend.
Casimero to take on Japanese Oguni on his fight-debut in Japan in October
The reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) Global super bantamweight champion John Riel “Quadro Alas” Casimero will make his debut in Japan by taking on Yukinori Oguni on October 12, 2023, at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
This was officially announced by Treasure Boxing Promotions’ chief Masayuki Ito, Casimero’s current promoter and manager, on Monday, August 28, 2023, in a press conference held in Japan.
