Concubinage charges have already been filed against a 47-year-old man and his 21-year-old mistress, who were both arrested by police on September 4, in Barangay Looc, Mandaue City.
Police Senior Master Sergeant Rey Atigdas, desk officer of the Opao Police Station, told CDN Digital that the charges were filed at the Mandaue City Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday, September 5.
The complainant, Atigdas said, was the man’s 48-year-old wife, who requested the assistance of police after suspecting that her husband was having an affair.
The husband, who used to be an overseas Filipino worker, was arrested along with a 21-year-old woman, who was suspected to be his mistress, inside the latter’s home. The man admitted that he had an affair because he felt not appreciated enough by his wife.
Police trying to unmask ‘Bianca Lee’, appeal to her to come forward, show her evidence
Cebu City police are now trying to unmask the real identity of Bianca Lee, the woman who claimed to have valuable information about the murder of Reah Mae Tocmo on July 16, 2023.
A high-ranking Cebu City police officer told reporters that they were exerting all efforts to put closure to Tocmo’s case and identify who “Bianca Lee” is as directed by Mayor Michael Rama.
In her social media posts, Lee claimed to have valuable information about the real circumstances behind Reah Mae Tocmo’s death. She, however, remains a veiled entity who has yet to submit her evidence to the police.
The police official said they were coordinating with the Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) in order to determine if the account used by the alleged witness was real or not.
