Man accused of killing nephew over land dispute in Alegria, Cebu

A 58-year-old man landed in jail after being accused of killing his own nephew over a land dispute in Alegria town southern Cebu on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
Police in Alegria arrested the suspect, identified as Edgardo Seno Flores, around 7:20 a.m. on Sunday.
Seno, 58, allegedly stabbed and then shot dead his 44-year-old nephew identified as Eduardo Tan Bequilla.
Fuel prices update: Gasoline to go down, diesel to increase
Prices of gasoline and kerosene will again decline while price of diesel will increase on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
The price of gasoline will drop by up to P2 per liter while kerosene by 50 centavos per liter. The price of diesel, on the other hand, will go up by 40 centavos per liter.

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said Sunday its Regional Special Operations Group nabbed ex-Dingras mayor Marynette Gamboa at 10:30 on September 30 inside a resort in Calamba City, following days of intelligence operations.
Kris Aquino reiterates split with Mark Leviste; hopes to return to PH soon as health improves
Kris Aquino insisted that she is “not in a relationship” with anyone and she now “feels more peaceful” in the company of her sons Josh and Bimby.
Aquino took to her Instagram to reiterate what she said in July that she ended her relationship with Batangas vice governor Mark Leviste because a long-distance relationship would be hard for them to maintain. She has since unfollowed the latter on Instagram.
