First on the list: Liquor ban

Starting this Sunday, October 29, the liquor ban will take effect nationwide.

Under Resolution No. 10905 of the Commission on Elections (Comelec), drinking, selling, and distributing alcoholic beverages in public areas are prohibited.

Only foreign tourists in authorized hotels or establishments are exempted from this prohibition.

In turn, the electoral body advised those who want to consume liquor to stock up and drink them inside their own homes.
