Cebu is in for an interesting treat.
Healthylicious café offers customers a variety of food and drinks that not only taste good but make your body feel good as well.
Charlotte Fran Chiong, owner of the café, said the inspiration for the café was the current healthy-living trend in the city.
“People today are into exercise, for example yoga. But after that, where do you go?” she said.
She noted that people usually end up eating at fast-food chains that negate the point of living a healthy lifestyle.
Healthylicious does not only cater to the taste buds of people who aspire to live healthier lifestyles, but also those who just want to try something new.
“We have a good mix of people here – those who are into healthy food, those who are not into healthy food, the old and the young,” Chiong said.
At first, she said it was difficult to introduce the products as many people are hesitant when they see the word “healthy.”
“Usually when people think healthy, they think that it doesn’t taste good. That is why we made sure that our products or menu items are delicious even without the added sugar or artificial sweeteners,” Chiong said.
Healthylicious is located on the 2nd floor of SM Northwing. There are plans to put up another outlet at the soon-to-open SM Seaside City.
Healthylicious is open for franchise, with an initial setup cost of P180,000 for the cart and P350,000 for the kiosk or counter.
