Two men were shot by two unidentified men in barangay Carreta, Cebu City Thursday morning.
The victims were identified as Rodolfo Rodriguez, 47, and Miel John Matugas, 23.
Rodriguez sustained gunshot wounds in the arm and back while Matugas was wounded in the chest.
The two men were brought to a Cebu City hospital.
The incident happened in the interior portion of sitio Ponce II at around 5 a.m. Thursday, police said.
The two victims are from barangay Hipodromo and were just visiting in the area when they were attacked.
PO2 Michael Singson said that according to witnesses, the gunmen wore masks.
Singson lamented that the victims’ families are not cooperating with the investigation.
