Janna Dominguez and her partner Mickey Ablan bid farewell to their daughter Yzabel Ablan who was laid to rest on Thursday, Oct. 12.
Yzabel, who died at the age of 20 years due to sudden heart failure and lung infection, was buried at La Pieta Memorial Park in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Moments from the burial were shown by actress Iwa Moto and politician Edu Pamintuan through their respective social media pages.
“Yza… Mahal na mahal ka naming lahat. You are our angel. Mamimiss ka namin,” Moto said via her Instagram page. (Yza, we all love you. You are our angel. We will miss you.)
Stepmom for a couple of years
Yzabel is Mickey’s daughter from a previous relationship. Prior to being with his current partner Dominguez, Mickey had been in a relationship with Moto who served as Yzabel’s “stepmom for a couple of years.”
“People might say swerte ka kasi daming nag mamahal sayo pero mali sila, anak. Lahat kami napaka swerte na nakilala ka namin,” she added, describing Yzabel as an inspiration and a warrior. “Ang sakit sakit ng puso ko ngayon, anak, pero magpapakatatag ako kasi I know yan ang sasabihin mo sakin. I love you always and forever.”
(People might say you are lucky because many people love you, but they are wrong. We are the lucky ones because we met you. My heart hurts, but I will carry on because I know that’s what you will tell me. I love you always and forever.)
Moto also expressed her gratitude to Yzabel’s family including Mickey and Dominguez, saying, “Thank you po for letting me be there for Yza kahit sa huling pagkakataon (even for the last time).”

Dominguez, for her part, showed their last complete family picture with Yzabel via the actress’ Facebook page.
