The run comprises five categories: 1K, 3K for everyone, 3K for parents and their children, 5K, and 10K, participated with approximately 2,500 people, including the students and staff of PAREF Springdale School, Inc.
The Titan Run 2024 started with the Zumba exercise as a warm-up activity before the actual run.
“In a world where schedules can be hectic and distractions abound, it is critical to set aside time like today to prioritize family bonding and total well-being,” said Renante Payod, the Executive Director of PAREF Springdale School, Inc.
Attended by both students from the said institution and their parents, the purpose of the assemblage was met to nurture and ensure children’s overall development through family bonding and togetherness.
Adding flare to the event, participating runners were greeted with a bubble party upon crossing the finish line.
Winning Runners
While the first 500 finishers of the 10K leg received a specialized metal, only a few were deemed top placers.
Runners John Mark Dizon and Art Joy Torregoza dominated the 10K categories. Followed by Andrew Kim Remolino and Joseph Arnel Emia in the male category and Hillary Sing and Jona Monsanto in the female category respectively. Eric Chepsiror and Jeanly Mata were also able to clinch the top stops in the 5K categories.
The successful night run was organized by PAREF Springdale School’s Student Body Organization and the institution’s 3rd-grade pupils’ parents. For more information about Titan’s Run 2024, visit their official Facebook Page at @PAREFSDSBO.
